Orbiter Arts

Admittedly, a name like "Orbiter Arts" doesn't evoke anything along the lines of woodworking or ancient board games.  At one point, several months ago, my wife and I were putting some thought to what would be a good name for a business should we decide to pursue the idea of selling our game boxes.  We had recently come back from a family vacation to the Kennedy Space Center, and one of my sons was still fixated on the many facts he had learned about the space shuttle program, one of which is that, to be accurate, when you refer to the "shuttle," you are talking about the entire delivery system, including the main rocket and the two secondary rocket boosters, and the plane-like orbiter.  My son, at that time he was six years old, was drawing on a magna-doodle, and we noticed what he had drawn:

My wife and I were struck by the logo-like appearance, and commented that "Orbiter" would make a good business name.  We just tacked on the "arts".

That's the short of it.  We're working on getting a wood brand made with the logo, which we'll use to mark each of our boxes.
